Ireland is set to bask in glorious sunshine for another few days, with temperatures to rival some of Europe's warmest climes.
The mercury will hit 18C on Wednesday, with balmy conditions and highs of 17C forecast every day until Sunday.
The weather will be warmer than locations such as the Algarve, Ibiza and Marbella - locations typically frequented by Irish tourists seeking some winter and spring sun.
However, the temperatures won't stay this high forever, and Met Eireann has pinpointed when the 'mini heatwave' will end.
According to the national forecaster, temperatures will "fall back to average" on Monday and Tuesday, despite conditions remaining dry.
Rain is also likely to return from the middle of next week onwards.
Met Eireann's long-range forecast until March 31 says that the weather "is likely to turn more changeable with temperatures reverting back to more seasonal highs, or possibly below normal" later in the week.
The forecast adds: "Rainfall figures should however remain below average with no significant winds expected, at least at this stage. However, extremes of weather cannot be ruled out at this time of year either."
Before then, the rest of Tuesday will stay generally dry with hazy sunshine and isolated light showers.
However, some patchy cloud will develop through the afternoon, mainly in the west and north, with highest temperatures of 13 to 17C, touching 18C, warmest in the midlands, west and north.
Tuesday night will be mainly dry with just isolated showers and a light breeze. After a clear start, it will become quite foggy or misty in places with cloud cover increasing also with lowest temperatures of 3 to 7C.
A forecast said for Thursday: "Mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning but it will be a cloudier day across Connacht, Ulster and west Munster with some patchy drizzle possible. Otherwise dry with sunny spells and a light breeze. Fog will linger along some coasts through the day. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17c, warmest in the east and south.
"Mostly clear across the east and south [on Thursday night], with low cloud and possibly some fog in western and northern counties. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5C with a grass frost possible in parts where it remains clear.
"Rather cloudy in many areas to start [on Friday], becoming sunnier through the day although cloud may persist near northern coasts. A mainly dry with the chance of the odd shower breaking out. Highest temperatures of 13 to 17C, warmest inland with sea breezes developing.
"Remaining dry and clear for most areas [on Friday night], however some fog patches may form in light easterly breezes. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5C.
"Dry with sunny spells [on Saturday]. Highest temperatures of 14 to 17C, slightly cooler along northern and eastern coasts. Little change overnight, but turning cold again overnight with a touch of grass frost possible. Some fog may also set in.
"Dry with good sunshine and a light northeast breeze [on Sunday]. Highest temperatures of 13 to 16 or 17C."
