Ireland star Mack Hansen's live TV interview goes wrong and people can't stop watching it

Ireland winger Mack Hansen was in sensational form for his side against Italy in the third round of the Six Nations but he was still left red-faced after making a huge blunder during a live post-match interview.

Hansen scored two tries and was named as the Player of the Match as he helped Andy Farrell's side to a 34-20 win in Rome on Saturday to keep Ireland's Grand Slam ambitions on track.

But things soon went wrong for the speedster as he spoke to Irish TV channel RTE following the game and the discussion turned to Ireland's next game against their Grand Slam rivals Scotland.

As he spoke about the upcoming trip to Murrayfield, Hansen bumped into the microphone stand, nearly knocking it over in the process. He reached out to grab it, but as he did so, let a certain four-letter word slip out of his mouth.

"We haven't thought about it that much it's been all about this week," he said. "But that's going to be a tough one away. I haven't played at Murrayfield yet, so fingers crossed I can make that - oh, f***!"

The visibly embarrassed winger was quick to apologise, as he added: "Oh, pardon! Pardon! Pardon! Sorry!," as the interviewer laughed off the blooper.

The clip of Hansen's gaffe quickly went viral on social media following the match, with viewers left in stitches by the slip-up itself and his hilarious reaction to it.

"Mack Hansen, what a legend," said one, while another added: "[He] will have a few RTE complaints after this". A third wrote: "Mack Hansen giving an all star performance on the pitch and in the interview!"
