Nick Timoney and Ciarán Frawley have been added to the Ireland squad ahead of Sunday's Six Nations clash with Scotland at Murrayfield.
Ulster back row Timoney and versatile Leinster back Frawley are included by Andy Farrell at the expense of Leinster duo Scott Penny and Jamie Osborne, who picked up knocks in the province's URC victory at Edinburgh last Saturday.
There is also no room for Joey Carbery, the Munster no 10 who was recalled to the squad for the last round trip to Italy due to the absence of the injured Johnny Sexton, who returns as expected from a groin injury.
The uncapped Frawley only returned to action in that game after picking up a knee injury in Ireland A's loss to the All Blacks XV at the RDS in November. Timoney is included for the first time since starting in the Autumn series win over Fiji.

Farrell assembled a 37-man squad last night at Carton House ahead of his side's penultimate game of the championship as Ireland chase Grand Slam glory.
Skipper Sexton, Tadhg Furlong, Garry Ringrose, Peter O'Mahony and Robbie Henshaw could all return to action against the Scots, but there is some concern over the fitness of both Ringrose and James Lowe.
Gavin Coombes, Jack Crowley, Rob Herring, Jordan Larmour, Cian Prendergast, Roman Salanoa, Jacob Stockdale and Kieran Treadwell are all back in the panel having featured for their provinces in the URC at the weekend and not participating in last week's mini-camp that included a game against the Ireland under-20s at the Aviva Stadium.
Herring missed out on the round three victory against Italy as he was going through the graduated return to play protocols, but he is included again.
