The sides will meet again at next year's World Cup as they have been drawn in the same pool.
But while Irish fans will celebrate the victory in Dublin tonight, many weren't keen on the in-match entertainment at the Aviva.
When the match was stopped for things like injuries or any kind of breaks in play, music was blared out over the speakers at the stadium.
Playing music during stoppages in matches is often done in rugby matches in the southern hemisphere.
