The Department of Defence is recruiting for a number of roles across Ireland.
The department is offering wages of €539.07 to €682.31 for the following positions:
- General Operative Duties
- Range Operative Duties
- Land Steward Duties

Successful candidates will have the chance to select locations of their choice. These include:
- Defence Forces Training Centre (DFTC), Curragh, Co Kildare
- McKee Barracks, Co Dublin
- Gormanston Camp, Co Meath
- Dun Ui Mhaoiliosa, Co Galway
- Lynch Camp, Kilworth, Co Cork
- Collins Barracks, Co Cork
- Custume Barracks, Athlone
- Finner Camp, Co Donegal
- Aiken Barracks, Dundalk
- KilbrideCamp, Co Dublin
The position is a permanent Non-Established State Industrial post based on a net 39-hour week. Successful candidates will be put on a probationary period of 12 months.

- Have the requisite knowledge, skills and competencies to carry out the role
- Be capable and competent in fulfilling the role to a high standard
