Ireland's heatwave is expected to properly kick-off on Wednesday as temperatures surpass 25C ahead of five more days of similar heat.
Parts of the country will see 27C on Wednesday with Met Eireann warning of the above average temperatures.
The forecaster said: "High pressure will continue to bring settled, mainly dry and sunny conditions. Very warm or hot as well through the rest of the week and weekend with temperatures widely in the mid to high twenties. Uncomfortably warm during the nights too."

Best days for the beach
It's going to be boiling every day until the end of the week with temperatures above 25C in at least some part of the country every day until Monday.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday look set to see temperatures reach 28C or 29C and could be the best days for the beach if you're looking for sweltering heat.
But Wednesday and Sunday will be about 27C and far above normal so still very much good enough for a trip to the seaside.
Hottest areas
Inland counties and the south of Ireland will most likely see the warmest of the top temperatures and sunshine.
RTE and Met Eireann forecaster Joanna Donnelly said: "The whole country will experience a fine, settled spell of weather this week with high pressure in situ directly over the country.
"The highest temperatures are expected to be inland and in the south of the country. All areas will experience sunshine, light winds and temperatures of between 22 and 24 degrees."
Met Eireann's serious warning
Met Eireann have a weather advisory in place for the entire week and are warning people to be mindful of the extreme heat outside.
They said: "Ireland will experience a hot spell developing from Wednesday and continuing through the rest of the week and the weekend. Daytime temperatures will widely reach the mid to high twenties. Remaining uncomfortably warm overnight too. Updates will follow."

The stunning spell of weather looks set to end on Monday as wetter conditions move across the country.
A Met Eireann forecaster said: "Current indications suggest that it will turn more unsettled early next week with temperatures falling back closer to average for the time of year."
