Ireland AM star Alan Hughes was caught out by Tommy Bowe in some playful banter during Wednesday morning's show.
The presenters were discussing the possible reintroduction of face masks in public settings after the most recent surge of Covid-19 in Ireland.
However when Alan said he wouldn't mind wearing them on public transport, Tommy had a witting response.

Alan said: "I think I wouldn't mind wearing them on public transport." Tommy clapped back: "Because you're never on it."
Grainne Seoige, who has been filling in for Muireann O'Connell on the show, also got in on the joke. She joked: "Dressed like this? Would you wear a mask on your yacht?"
Alan admitted: "I would be more than happy to wear a mask on a bus that I'm never on." However Alan didn't let Tommy get away with embarrassing him on telly.
The former rugby star was quickly put in his place after Alan revealed the former Ireland rugby international was watching the Ireland vs Maori All-Blacks match on his laptop while presenting the show.
Alan said: "We need to get to a break because... Tommy turn your laptop around there."
Tommy said: "Ireland is three-nil up by the way." Alan insisted: "Turn it around, Tommy's watching the match, the rugby, and doing Ireland AM. Talk about multitasking."
Tommy admitted: "The rugby is on and it's very important. Who says men can't multi-task?" Alan added: "Had to get you back on that one."
People took to social media to comment on the witty face off. One said: “Good man Tommy, putting him in his place.”
Another said: “Tommy is brilliant on that show”. While a third commented: “The claws came out”.
