The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has announced two tour packages titled ‘Swadesh Darshan tourist train’ from Andhra Pradesh to the North India connecting spiritual centres and religious places of tourist interest.
Rates
The first train SCZFT-01 departs at Renigunta Junction/Tirupati on May 27 and covers Agra, Mathura, Mata Vaishnodevi and Amritsar with halts at Vijayawada and Secunderabad. The standard and comfort tariff rates are pegged at ₹18,120 and ₹22,165 respectively for the 7 nights/8 days package.
Similarly, the second train SCZSD-03 ‘Mahalaya Pind Daan’ starting at Secunderabad on September 14 and having boarding points at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Bhubaneswar, covers Varanasi, Prayag Sangam and Gaya.
The standard and comfort tariffs for this train are fixed at ₹14,485 and ₹18,785, announced IRCTC Deputy General Manager Kishore Satya. Area Officer K. Venugopal said the package included accommodation, food, road transfers and sightseeing.
