Iranian Hulk has finally shown off his boxing skills ahead of his fighting debut this weekend - and his technique leaves a lot to be desired.
The social media influencer, whose real name is Sajad Gharibi, is finally stepping into the ring on Sunday after years of announcements and stop-start deals when he faces Kazakh Titan in Dubai. The event comes a few months after the late cancellation of his fight with Martyn Ford, who pulled out over mental health concerns relating to his long-time rival.
Instead, he is facing Djumanov Almat Bakhytovich, who goes by the nickname Kazakh Titan at the P7 Arena in Dubai, and showed a brief package of his skills on Instagram today. His almost one million followers were treated to a rare video of Gharibi actually boxing, as opposed to engaging in outrageous shows of strength like crushing a frying pan.
But the video left fans with more questions than answers, with Gharibi struggling to get off a number of single shots before showcasing his combination punches. The Iranian influencer takes an orthodox stance and can be seen letting off a number of punches as his coach Hamzeh Moradian holds the pads.
Moradian is a kickboxer of some renown, and claims on his Instagram page to be the first gold medalist of Asian descent at the Savate World Championships. It is unclear how long he has been working with Iranian Hulk, who first became a part of the combat sports world in June 2019 when he signed with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
He never fought in BKFC due to the promotion being unable to ever get confirmation that he was "real" amid accusations that he had photoshopped the pictures that made him famous. He then agreed to face Ford, but that bout fell through

Today's release is a brief 30 seconds of footage, but for fans wanting to see what they're paying for on Sunday night, it's worth seeing. Gharibi has generally kept his cards close to his chest when it comes to his boxing ability and doesn't post much video of his actual boxing workouts.
His rival Kazakh Titan has been more open with sharing footage, and looks the naturally more athletic of the two in videos posted to his Instagram. It is expected that the pair's combined weight for the fight will be around 520lb, given their massive size.
The pair will headline a fun night of exhibition fights in Dubai on Sunday, with the event being streamed live from 6pm UK time. the co-main event will feature YouTube star Ryan Taylor taking on MMA fighter and Jake Paul training partner Anthony Taylor.
