Iran Warns Of Stronger Response To Israeli Aggression

Iran has issued a warning to Israel, stating that it will respond with increased force if Israel retaliates against the recent strikes. The strikes, according to Tehran, were a response to an Israeli attack on its embassy complex in Damascus earlier this month.

In a statement, Iran's Ambassador to the UN emphasized Iran's right to self-defense and stated that any future Israeli military aggression would be met with a stronger and more resolute response from Iran.

The recent strikes were reportedly carried out in retaliation for an Israeli attack on April 1, which Iran claims targeted its diplomatic facilities in Damascus. Iran alleges that the attack resulted in the deaths of seven Iranian military advisors, including high-ranking commanders from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Iran criticized the United Nations Security Council for failing to maintain international peace and allowing Israel to violate established norms, leading to increased tensions in the region.

Israel has frequently conducted strikes on Iran-backed targets in Syria, often targeting weapons shipments destined for Hezbollah, an influential Iranian proxy in Lebanon. While Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for the April 1 attack that destroyed an Iranian consulate building in Damascus, it contends that the building was a military facility of the Quds forces disguised as a civilian structure.
