Ipswich enter the interval leading 1-0 over Wolves in this relegation six-pointer. The hosts started the game with intent, knowing they must win this game if they have any chance of remaining in the division. However, it was Wolves that had the first chance of the game in the 12th minute as Larsen was played in behind with a lovely through ball but the striker hit his shot from a narrow angle which made it easier for Palmer to save with his legs. Ipswich would then take the lead four minutes later, Delap the scorer. The ball was played towards the back post with a long ball near the halfway line from Tuanzebe towards O’Shea.
