Nebraska blocked two Iowa field-goal attempts on Friday. The Cornhuskers weren’t able to complete the hat trick and the Hawkeyes won, 13-10, on a last-second field goal.
The win was the 10th of the season for Iowa, which survived one ugly contest to win the Heroes Trophy.
Marshall Meeder had not made an attempt all year before the game-winner from 38 yards.
Last 5 mins of Iowa-Nebraska (thus far).
-Missed FG
-2 punts
-Weird replay review on a spot
-Both teams call time out at same time
-Interception (return cancelled by penalty).
-Clock malfunction
-NU wastes final TO as play clock runs down.

The game-winning drive came after Chubba Purdy — yes, Brock’s brother — threw an interception with 15 seconds left. He was picked by Ethan Hurkett.
Leshon Williams broke a 22-yard run to set the stage for Meeder’s heroics.

Iowa coach Kirk Ferentz was moved by the victory. His team plays the Ohio State-Michigan winner in the Big Ten Championship Game.
