Iowa, Northwestern play scoreless first half at Wrigley Field

This isn’t a Cubs game. There would have been more scoring in the first inning of one of those.

Iowa continues to set offense back decades and it apparently met its match in Northwestern on Saturday at Wrigley Field.

The Hawkeyes and Wildcats left the field scoreless.

There were 110 yards of total offense with Iowa having 9 of 11 first downs.

For some reason, Northwestern used  two punters.

Overall, there were 10 punts in the first half.
