The Baltimore Ravens have had many great offensive linemen walk through their doors over the course of their franchise history. One of those is former guard Marshal Yanda, who put together a Hall of Fame career during his time in Baltimore after being selected in the third round of the 2007 draft out of the University of Iowa.
Another offensive lineman from Iowa who is looking to make his mark at the NFL level is center Tyler Linderbaum. When speaking to the media on Thursday at the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, Linderbaum shared that he has worked out with Yanda and gotten to know him well.
Iowa C Tyler Linderbaum has worked out with Hawkeye great Marshal Yanda. He was impressed.
“There’s a reason why he was in the NFL for so long.”
Linderbaum, a potential 1st-round target, said it’d be “kind of tough to follow in his footsteps” in Baltimore given all Yanda did. pic.twitter.com/6z1Wd6QxLU
