Former Arsenal defender Kolo Toure has told his old side to offer Bukayo Saka a ten-year contract extension.
The Gunners currently sit on top of the Premier League table, eight points clear of second-placed Manchester City with ten games to go, although the Citizens do have a game in hand on their title rivals. If the north London outfit were able to clinch the title this term, it would be the first time they have won the league since 'The Invincibles' side of 2003/04 when Arsene Wenger's side went the entire league campaign undefeated.
Toure was a crucial member of that team and he has now admitted that he can see the current team ending that 19-year wait for glory. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said: "They look like a team that can win the Premier League.

"The quality they have on the pitch, the chemistry they have with each other. They defend and attack together.
"They suffer together and they enjoy together. I can see this family bond. You can see these are guys who are ready to fight for each other."
Winger Saka has been one of the most consistent performers for Arsenal this season and the 21-year-old has told the club that he wants to stay as the Gunners close in on securing their star player to a new contract, football.london understands. Now, Toure has admitted that he hopes the Hale End academy graduate's new deal is for ten years, claiming that the club have made mistakes in the past when trying to tie their best players down to new deals.
The Ivorian continued: "One thing I have to say - my advice to Arsenal is for Bukayo Saka to sign for 10 years! One mistake that Arsenal made down the years, they had key players that loved the club and they let them go.
"You must keep those players because these players are the players that are going to lead the team for you. These are the players you can rely on; these are the players that when it's tough they will put their bodies on the line because they love the club.
"You have two types of players, players that love the club and players who just come and go. You need players who love the club because these are players who are going to fight with their heart."
