The collapse of a wall that resulted in two builders being taken to hospital has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.
The emergency services were called out to an apartment block on Albert Road in Southport just after 3pm on January 8 following reports of an incident.
An internal wall collapsed during conversion work injuring two building contractors.

The two men suffered minor injuries during the incident and were taken to hospital.
Fire, police and ambulance all attended the scene.
The Health and Safety Executive Executive (HSE) has now confirmed that they are making 'enquiries' into the incident after Sefton Council referred the matter to them.
A HSE spokesperson said: “HSE is aware of this incident and making enquiries.”
A spokesperson for Sefton Council said: “Following an incident at a private property in Albert Road, Southport, our Building Control team are working with the property's landlord and managing agents to ensure a structural assessment and all necessary works are carried out as soon as possible.
"These works will be carried out in accordance with statutory building regulations.
"We also understand the matter has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE)."
The incident led to a major response from the emergency services and roads were closed in the area.
On the day of the accident a local man said: "I heard that a wall collapsed and came down on top of two builders. I saw them going into the ambulance. I was told the builders were working on a basement flat when the wall came down."
