Investigation launched after two people 'have sex' on train

AN investigation has been launched after two people were reportedly having sex on a train.

Officers received a report of the incident on March 17 onboard the 3.46pm Alloa and Glasgow Queen Street.

Two people were asked to get off the next stop, which would have been Lenzie, by an onboard conductor.

The British Transport Police has confirmed it is investigating the incident.

A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "We received a report of sexual activity taking place onboard the 3.46 pm train from Alloa to Glasgow Queen Street on Monday, March 17.

"The two people involved were asked to leave the service at the next stop by the onboard conductor. Officers are now investigating this incident.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact officers by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 458 of March 18."

Phil Campbell, ScotRail Customer Operations Director, said: “We’re aware of an incident on board one of our trains on Monday afternoon, which has been reported to British Transport Police.”
