An investigation has been launched after 'three intruders' burst into a local Co-op while staff were working inside.
The incident happened at the shop on Castle Street in Edgeley, Stockport, just after 8.30pm last night (Monday).
The suspects burst inside in what the M.E.N understands was an attempted robbery.
No-one was hurt in the incident, a spokesperson for Co-op said.

Police are now investigating, the spokesperson added.
The shop was closed off after the incident last night as investigations were carried out at the scene.
It re-opened as normal this morning.
A spokesperson for Co-op said: "There was an incident at our Castle Street, Edgeley, store just after 8:30pm last night (Monday, 14, February) when three intruders entered.
"Fortunately, no one was hurt.
"We appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to police, who are investigating.
"The store re-opened this morning to serve the community."
