Police in Northern Ireland have launched an investigation after shots were fired at a home where a child was present.
The incident occurred on Thursday in Joyce Court, Derry, when four masked men reportedly carried out the attack on the residential property, according to a PSNI report.
At the time, there were two adults in the home with a child, however, thankfully none of them were injured in the process of the shooting.

Speaking about the report, Detective Sergeant Ballentine confirmed: “Shortly after 10.40 pm police received a report that four masked men had attended a residential address and fired shots at the front door.”
He said officers attended and spoke to the occupants of the property, where "two adults and a young child were present at the time.
“Thankfully, there were no reports of any injuries,” Detective Ballentine added.
“Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and we are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw any suspicious activity, or who may have any CCTV footage captured or any other information which could assist, to contact us.”
