An investigation has been launched after a man was found dead near a footpath in a village. Police were called to reports of a body being found in Breaston, close to the Nottinghamshire-Derbyshire border, on Friday, June 23.
A member of the public made the discovery at around 7.20pm on a path near Risley Lane, as reported by Derbyshire Live. A cordon was then set up by Derbyshire Police.
The deceased's family has been made aware and are being supported by officers. The investigation is in its early stages and officers remain in the area.
