
The Washington Commanders have finalized their 2023 NFL draft class by adding seven new players to the franchise.
Washington made only one trade, moving up 13 spots in the fifth round to select Clemson defensive end K.J. Henry. The Commanders gave up fifth and sixth-round selections to the Bills in the trade.
Washington filled multiple needs, including adding cornerbacks in the first two rounds and offensive linemen in the following two rounds. The Commanders added two EDGE defenders and one running back.

Second round, No. 47 overall: Illinois CB Jartavius Martin

Third round, No. 97 overall: Arkansas C Ricky Stromberg

Fifth round, No. 137 overall: Clemson EDGE K.J. Henry

Sixth round, No. 193 overall: Kentucky RB Chris Rodriguez Jr.

Seventh round, No. 233 overall: Louisiana LB Andre Jones Jr.
