Well, it looks like another celeb couple has bitten the dust and this one hurts. Lily Allen and David Harbour have reportedly called it quits after five years of marriage according to a close source.
The rumour mill has been churning for months, but now a friend of the “Smile” singer has confirmed to DailyMail.com that the pair have officially “separated”. Say it ain’t so!!!!
Allen has also been spotted on the exclusive dating app Raya (mostly occupied by finance bros and if you’re lucky a couple celebs). A source unconnected to Allen (aka an internet sleuth) shared a pic of her profile revealing a bio that reads, “Looking for someone to start couples therapy with.” Okay, but why am I stealing that for my dating profile immediately?!
The profile also indicated she’s “visiting Los Angeles from New York”.
However according to the DailyMail ,her friend insists she’s not actively searching for dates. Apparently, she “takes marriage very seriously” and hasn’t officially divorced yet. Fair enough.
Interestingly, Allen and Harbour, 49, actually met on Raya back in the day, before tying the knot in Las Vegas in 2020. The singer previously admitted she didn’t recognise the Stranger Things star from his profile pic with his policeman costume, thinking he was “just like a sexy policeman from a reality TV show”. So true bestie.
The split news comes hot on the heels of Allen’s recent podcast admission that she’s “not in a great place mentally” and is “bored of men”.
She also told friend and podcast co-host Miquita Oliver, “I’m having a bit of a rough time of it at the moment, but I’m trying to soldier on.”
Fans have been speculating about trouble in paradise for a while now. Allen’s been spotted without her engagement ring, and the couple unfollowed each other on social media last year. It’s not looking great for mum and dad TBH.
While neither Allen or Harbour have commented yet on the validity of this source or the Raya news, it does seem like this Hollywood romance has sadly come to an end.
