An international pole dancing competition is taking place in Dublin this weekend.
Pole Dance Ireland Princess Aerial Arts Competition PDIP 2022 is an international pole dance competition organised by Pole Dance Ireland. It will begin on Saturday in The Sugar Club on Leeson Street.
The competition positively promotes and celebrates pole and aerial dance athletic performance art. It’s an opportunity for contenders to show off their dance techniques, creativity, elegance and showmanship.

The Eventbrite description reads: “It will be a day of spectacles, where the world will see the best of pole and aerial hoop from various levels. Where grace meets strength, where aspirations come to life.
“With accredited Judges including three time world champions Terri and Lisette, Global sponsors, Lupit Pole, Xpole, Wink Dancewear, Lunalae and Spin City Dance.”
Pole Dance Ireland Princess Competition also posted on Facebook: "Omg the excitement!!! It’s been way to long since we held our last competition cannot wait to see all the competitors.
"Competitors are coming from all over the globe to compete in our international aerials arts competition this year."
Doors open at 5:00pm and the competition starts at 6:00pm sharp. Ticket prices start at €25.94. There will be a resident DJ after the competition. You can find out more here.
