Inter Milan 'want no less than €60m' for Lautaro Martinez amid Man City links and other rumours

Inter Milan have reportedly named their minimum price for star striker Lautaro Martinez with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola said to be a 'great admirer'.

The Argentine talisman was in red hot form last season as Antonio Conte knocked Juventus off their perch in Serie A, winning the scudetto for the first time in over a decade.

With Conte and fellow strike partner Romelu Lukaku departing in the summer, Inter have managed to continue their title charge so far this campaign with Martinez contributing with 11 goals and two assists in 21 appearances this season.

City's lack of a prominent goalscorer or number nine has drawn a lot of talk since Sergio Aguero departed in the summer.

According to InterLive.it via Sport Witness, despite signing an extension last October to keep him at the club until 2026, the Italian champions are reportedly looking to cash in on the 24-year-old.

In the report, they say that the Blues manager is an admirer of the Serie A and Copa America winner. As well as this, City 'could' offer Gabriel Jesus as part of an exchange deal for Martinez.

However, it is likely Simone Inzaghi will rebuff that offer, with InterLive reporting the club 'only want cash' and in excess of €60m (£50.5m).

Meanwhile, the Blues were recently linked with promising South American full-back Valentin Barco, a 17-year-old defender from Boca Juniors.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, they say the youngster has a $10m (£7.3m)release clause until May where it will increase to $14m (£10.3m).
