Notably, law enforcement officials have ruled out impairment as a factor in the incident. Kirkpatrick emphasized that the situation was not related to driving under the influence but rather indicated a more intricate and severe motive behind the attack.

The New Orleans Police Department is actively investigating the case to gather more information and determine the exact circumstances surrounding the intentional vehicular assault in the French Quarter.
