Insurance broker and risk management firm Gallagher has expanded its team and services to cover more businesses.
Adding to the existing team of 30, based on George Street, will be Helen Watson, Bobby Lamond and Jill Morrison, covering sectors including finance, construction, property, hospitality and retail.
Watson joins from Aon and has experience of managing insurance for large corporate clients, while Lamond comes in from Marsh and will be focussed on winning new clients in banking, drawing on his experience in sales.
Morrison, who has also joined from Marsh, brings experience of providing insurance advice to businesses across Scotland.
Grant Casey, head of office in Edinburgh, said: “Although the city continues to do very well, there are difficult economic issues affecting firms and an increased risk of suppliers entering administration.
“We are delighted to welcome Helen, Bobby and Jill and this team expansion means we will be able to extend our services to more businesses locally and across Scotland.”
Gallagher, headquartered in the US, has 7,000 UK employees and a presence in 130 countries.
