The Arizona Cardinals move back up the board after initially moving out of the No. 3 spot, and they nab their new franchise left tackle in Ohio State’s Paris Johnson Jr.
Johnson was a full time starter at left tackle for the first time last season, and was elite in his protection of quarterback CJ Stroud. He excelled at his new position, giving up zero QB hits and just two sacks on 446 snaps. He was one of the top offensive lineman in the country, and was a big reason why their passing game was so dominant.
Johnson will be an immediate starter in Arizona and be tasked with protecting franchise quarterback Kyler Murray. He can play the left or right tackle spots, and can fill in at guard if needed, his versatility will fit right into that Cardinals offense.
