Instant analysis of the Ravens dominant 38-6 win over Lions in Week 7

The Lions are improving, but they’re not ready to be listed among the NFL’s elite after an embarrassing 38-6 loss to the Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium.

Lamar Jackson accounted for four total touchdowns, and the Ravens defense held Detroit to 97 yards in the a first half that saw the home team score on their first four possessions.

With Baltimore now 5-2 on the season and heading to Arizona in Week 8, here’s an instant analysis of the dominannt win.

Lamar Jackson

Jackson was almost perfect, leading Baltimore to touchdowns on its first four possessions of the first half, while going 21 of 27 for 357 yards and three touchdowns, finishing with a near-perfect passer rating of 155.8.

He also ran for a touchdown, as the Ravens dominated the Detroit Lions 38-6 on Sunday in a matchup of division leaders that was lopsided from the start.

Baltimore (5-2) was up 28-0 before the NFC North-leading Lions (5-2) even managed a first down.

The talented tight end had two tocuhdowns on the day.

Andrews had 4 catches, for 63 yards and the two scores.

Odafe Oweh

Oweh returned ot the lineup, and logged 3 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 QB hit.

Justin Madubuike pricing himself out

Madubuike logged another sack, while the free agent to be had 3 tackles, 1 sack, and 2 QB hits.

The Lions had won four straight — all by at least 14 points — and they’d scored at least 20 points in 15 straight games, but ran into a buzzsaw on Sunday.

Baltimore held Detroit to 337 total yards, and less than 100 in the first half, while the road team went 5-16 on third down, along with Jared Goff getting sacked five times.
