The Baltimore Ravens entered the 2022 draft needing cornerbacks after losing players such as Anthony Averett, Tavon Young, and Chris Westry in 2022 free agency. After waiting until the fourth round to select one, Baltimore finally landed their guy in Alabama cornerback Jalyn Armour-Davis.
Armour-Davis got on the field for significant snaps for the Crimson Tide for the first time in 2021, totaling 35 tackles and three interceptions. He is an extremely long cornerback with a good frame, and has great closing speed. He also has good footwork, and is a willing tackler.
The former Alabama star has dealt with some injury concerns, but he has all of the tools to develop into an extremely solid NFL player. He’ll now be able to join a cornerback room that also includes Marlon Humphrey and Marcus Peters, with the ability to learn from two of the best at his position.
