The Baltimore Ravens made plenty of splashes on the first night of the 2022 NFL draft, selecting two star players while also trading wide receiver Marquise Brown to the Arizona Cardinals. One of Baltimore’s draft selections was center Tyler Linderbaum, who the team took with the No. 25 overall selection.
Linderbaum is regarded to be one of the best center prospects to come out of college in years, and certainly looked the part during his time as a Hawkeye. He puts himself in positions to win his one-on-one battles consistently, and is a very good athlete, being able to get out into space and get to the second level as well.
One of the key concerns surrounding Linderbaum is his size. He is a bit of a smaller player at the position, and his length was an issue for some. However, he makes up for that with his play, and is a very technically sound player.
There were good players at bigger positions of need available for Baltimore, but they decide to solidify the interior of their offensive line in Linderbaum. He’s a player that should be a staple on the team’s line for years to come, and slots in very nicely with some of his new teammates.
