Instagram influencer and OnlyFans model dies days before her baby's first Christmas

Tributes have been paid to a beloved mother and model who died days before her baby’s first Christmas.

Rachel Mee, 25, was an influencer who had over 40,000 followers on Instagram and also worked as a model on OnlyFans.

She tragically died last Sunday leaving little Kyro, who was born in March, facing his first Christmas without his mummy.

Friend Claire Robinson opened a GoFundMe campaign to raise money for the child’s future.

She wrote: “This Christmas will be Kyro’s first, and devastatingly his mummy will not be there.

“We are all so saddened with this devastating news, how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl.”

Rachel’s cause of death has yet to be confirmed.

Claire added: “Rachel sadly lost her battle with the pressures of this world.

“We are all so saddened with this devastating news, how this world has failed such a beautiful young girl and how she felt she had no other option [than] to no longer be here. “Leaving behind her beautiful little boy who she adored with all her heart.

“We feel if we can raise some funds for Kyro’s future just to take a little stress away from Rachel’s family and to help in some way.

“Or to even give Kyro a little head start in life raising some funds in memory of his beautiful mummy.”

A second GoFundMe campaign was launched by family friend Chris Coppen to raise money for the funeral costs.

It has so far raised nearly £5,000.

Chris said: “I’ve been asked from the family of Rachel to set a GoFundMe up as there have been so many messages paying respects and asking how they can help.”

One person who donated said: “I didn’t get the pleasure of meetings Rachel in person, but I have followed her for the past couple of years and I have always admired her strength.

“Time and time again she was hit with the most awful situations but still was an amazing mom and had a smile on her face.

“I wish I could have helped in some way, I feel so sad you felt you had to leave to feel at peace, but God obviously got a plan for you in heaven with the angels.

“I’m so sorry life was so cruel to you and I can only hope that you can see the impact you had on others and how highly you were thought of from above.”

Social media users took to both fundraisers and the influencer’s social media pages to leave tributes.

One - called Helen - said: “Devastating to hear.

“Oh Rachel RIP my gorgeous girl - the world will be less colourful without you.”
