It’s been days now since word got out that Hollywood dream couple Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan had split, and the rumour mill is BUZZING with theories on why they broke up.
The hot pair, who started dating in late 2023 and were together for a year, have been the source of a heap of rumours since the start of their relationship, from cheating rumours to PR relo theories.
Now, insiders have spoken to various publications with conflicting tea regarding whether or not the split was amicable.

Why did Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan break up?
Based on the rumour that Barry had cheated on Sabrina with TikToker and influencer Breckie Hill, fans assumed that — as Sabrina prophesied — he embarrassed her, motherfucker.
While the latest tea doesn’t confirm or deny the cheating rumours, it does support the theory that the relationship went down in flames and both parties aren’t happy.
A source told Entertainment Tonight “things didn’t end well” between the couple, and refuted claims that they are on a break, insisting they are “definitely broken up right now”.
With that said, they claimed “Sabrina isn’t sad over the breakup and is staying busy and distracted”.

Another source spoke to Us Weekly, revealing it was Sabrina’s decision to call time on their romance as she was “being pulled in so many directions” and didn’t have enough time to “commit to a relationship”.
“She has reached a huge level of stardom, so it’s been harder to focus and to be present for him in a relationship,” the insider said. “A bulk of the issue is she barely has time for herself let alone for a relationship.”
Another source who spoke to the mag revealed the breakup actually happened within “the last month”, again, due to their busy schedules.
“This has been the busiest time period for them both and their schedules weren’t aligning,” the second insider added. “They had hoped that they would be able to spend more time together and that took a toll on the relationship.”
In contrast to ET’s insider, this sneaky source made sure to stipulate that the split was on good terms and that Sabrina and Barry are very much still amicable.
“They are cordial and it was not contentious,” the second source continued. “Both agreed it wasn’t working. That was something they struggled with, being in different places all the time.”
So what is the real tea with Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan? Well, I guess we’ll have to wait for Sabrina’s next banger-filled album for the answer!
