Inside This Morning's disappearances and REAL reasons ITV stars left the show

This Morning has faced a series of major changes in recent years, with several presenters being axed from the line-up.

Recently, the likes of Eamonn Holmes and Rylan Clark have opened up about their experiences, with the latter admitting that a person's true colours eventually show.

Following the news that Phillip Schofield had lied to ITV, his management and legal team, Eamonn, 63, sensationally claimed that he and his wife Ruth Langsford were "deceived and lied to" by those at the network.

Former host Phillip took to Instagram minutes before the programme returned, saying "Now I no longer work on @thismorning I am free to say this. I hope you have noticed that it’s the same handful of people with a grudge against me or the show who seem to have the loudest voice.

"This Morning IS the best show to work on, with the best people. In all the years I worked there there was no toxicity. You can listen to those persistently loud voices if you like.

"But the thousands of guests over the years, thousands of staff and crew, hundreds of presenters and contributors all know, it IS a family of wonderful, talented, kind and hardworking people."

Seconds into the programme hosts Alison Hammond Dermot O'Leary acknowledged the drama surrounding the show, with O'Leary saying: "We know we have been in the news at the moment. But just from both of us and the whole team here, the crew, the guys downstairs, we love making this show for all of you."

Alison added: "We really do and that's exactly what we're gonna do - we're continuing to do that."

But Eamonn isn't the only famous person to have clashed with Schofield, 61, before his dramatic fall from grace.

In a blistering rant which the Irish presenter posted on his public Twitter page, Eamonn penned: "Schofield has finally been caught out... But he's not the only guilty party. 4 high members of Itv management knew what sort of man he was ...and NEVER once took action to prevent him controlling or taking advantage of his position over young people."

Eamonn later tweeted: "Ruth and I deceived and lied to. One day I willl tell the story. We had no issue with him being Gay, only support.

"What transpired took us for fools. The man told us complete lies and we unfortunately believed him."

Since the husband and wife duo were axed, they have made it no secret that they didn't gel with Phillip following rumours of a rift with Schofield.

Ruth is believed to have made a complaint to ITV in 2019 about his behaviour with their feud appearing more serious after Rith looked visibly shocked when she was cut off from speaking by Phil live on air as she informed viewers what was coming up next on Loose Women.

"Well, I only had about two more words to say," an unimpressed Ruth uttered.

Amanda Holden is also another member of the wider This Morning family who was dramatically cut from their list of presenters following an alleged clash with Phillip.

The radio personality, 52, has never shied away from sharing what happened between herself and Phillip and previously told Heart Radio listeners she once extended an olive branch to him – which he ignored.

Amanda replaced Holly on This Morning when she was presenting I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! but Phillip had reportedly decided Rochelle Humes was the perfect fit.

But Amanda had already secured the gig, leaving Phillip furious.

At the time, a source told The Sun on Sunday: "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced — and having been told privately she'd got the gig.

"She feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion. She was told he'd chosen Rochelle because she was easier to “manage” on air – and understandably that incensed her."

Speaking in 2019, Amanda addressed the situation, explaining to her radio co-host Jamie Theakston: "I've moved on from it, Jamie, you need to move on from it.

"I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn't reply to my text. What can I say?"

Former X Factor star Rylan Clark also hinted at a feud with Phillip in a recent interview, explaining all was not as it seemed.

Speaking to Waitrose and Partners Weekend, he said: "I've been in this industry for nearly 11 years, and all I've ever been is nice and polite to people.

"That's starting to pay off for me now because there are people in this industry who aren't like that.

"They think they're something special and the walls are starting to fall."

He added: "People can see through it all now. People can see who are the real ones and can very much see who isn't."

Dr Ranj claimed he made top bosses aware of his concerns on the programme (Ken McKay/ITV/REX/Shutterstock)

Over the weekend, This Morning's former resident doctor, Ranj Singh, claimed there was a toxic environment on the ITV magazine show.

He said: "I was on the show for ten years and I genuinely loved and valued working there. However, over time, I grew increasingly worried about how things were behind-the-scenes and how people, including myself were being treated.

"I didn't know the truth about what was going on with Phillip, but I do know the issues with This Morning go far beyond him."

Ranj continued on in his lengthy statement: "I even took my concerns directly to the top of ITV. The culture at This Morning had become toxic, no longer aligned with ITV values, and I felt like because I whistle-blew I was managed out.

"But as history and experience have taught us, things like bullying and discrimination are very hard to prove, particularly in hindsight and when the 'people in power' control the narrative. As we've seen, no review or investigation is foolproof."
