The Weeknd stars in the all-new raunchy series, The Idol, which is said to be the next big thing to hit our screens.
The gritty drama stars The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, as well as Lily-Rose Depp and many other well-known stars.
The six-part mini-series is tipped to replace HBO's Euphoria, with it reported to contain raunchy scenes that aren't suitable for viewers under the age of 18.
But as we tune into the all-new gritty series where The Weeknd will play the role of a slimy cult leader, let's refresh ourselves on his dating history in real life.
Bella Hadid
Probably his most well-known and prolific relationship, Abel was first linked to supermodel Bella Hadid back in 2015, with their relationship soon followed by masses of fans.
Things got going when he asked her if she would be on the cover of his 2015 album - Beauty Behind the Madness - with her quick to decline.
They did end up meeting up though, with them spotted at Coachella soon after.
Following their appearance at the music festival, the musician and the model were then spotted on a slew of romantic date nights.
The couple were then pretty serious, with The Weeknd even getting Bella a puppy for her 19th birthday before she starred in the music video for her boyfriend's hit In the Night.
Split rumours then spiralled, but they defiantly stepped out at the 2016 Grammys, with them remaining a couple until the fall.
At the end of October 2016, after more than a year together, the couple split due to them having busy schedules that were hard to co-ordinate, according to reports.
But this wasn't the end for the couple, with them spotted at Coachella two years later before packing on the PDA at Cannes Film Festival in 2018.
They remained together until the summer of 2019, with reports saying that they split up in August that year.
Selena Gomez
During The Weeknd and Bella's break before rekindling their romance, the musician dated Disney alum and fellow singer Selena Gomez.
Reports say that the pair met at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2015. At the time Abel was dating Bella and Selena was linked to Justin Bieber.
But in 2017 The Weeknd and Selena were romantically linked for the very first time when they were seen on what was thought to be a lavish date.
At first, it was reported that their relationship wasn't anything serious, but they soon jetted across the globe and went Instagram official while in Italy.
The couple remained together with them sharing glimpses of their relationship with their fans online in sweet posts, before attending the 2017 Met Gala together.
While Selena endured health issues relating to Lupus and underwent a kidney transplant, the couple were going strong, with The Weeknd supporting her throughout her recovery period.
But in October 2017 reports swirled that said the couple had split, with Selena later confirming their relationship had come to an end.
Yovanna Ventura and Chantel Jeffries
After his romance with Selena ended, although before he rekindled his relationship with Bella, The Weeknd was very briefly linked to model Yovanna Ventura when they were photographed together.
A matter of months later in April 2018, he was then linked to yet another model, Chantel Jeffries. Photos emerged of the pair at Coachella, with them reportedly packing on the PDA.
Angelina Jolie
Following his two brief rumoured romances, The Weeknd then got back with Bella Hadid before they split for good in August 2019.
He was then linked to Angelina Jolie two years later in June 2021, with rumours swirling around the pair when they went out for dinner on several occasions.
One of the times they dined together Angelina even left in the same car as the musician, with them both heading back to his home in Bel Air.
Simi Khadra
More recently The Weeknd has been linked to Simi Khadra, who is also a musician.
Simi is known for being part of the Palestinian DJ duo Simi and Haze Khadra with her twin sister.
The Weeknd and Simi were first rumoured to be romantically linked last year after they were spotted in Hollywood after his album release party.
Shortly after they were then spotted out for dinner, with them soon seen kissing in Las Vegas at his birthday party.
Although the couple have not gone official per se, they were spotted at the Cannes Film Festival just mere days ago.
