Una Healy brought the drama last night to the most stylish event of the year.
The former Saturdays singer was dressed to impress in a teal-green silk creation from Irish designer Synan O’Mahony at the annual Platinum VIP Style Awards at Dublin’s Marker Hotel.
“I just wanted something dramatic. You might as well go all out. We haven’t been out in so long. You need to really embrace it,” said Una, who attended the event for the first time.
The Co Tipperary star said she’s still “working on my music” while also presenting on the Six O’Clock Show.
Meanwhile, mum-of-three Rosanna Davison dazzled in a Paul Costelloe gown which she revealed was inspired by the book of Kells.
The former Miss World said she has spent the week getting ready for the glamorous event.
“It’s so exciting. I used to arrive to things and not fuss too much. This time around, I’ve been planning it, going ‘OK, I need to get nails done on Tuesday, hair done on Wednesday, hair done on Thursday.’ It’s been much more military."
Speaking about the fashion last night she said: “Nobody’s gone with the typical long gown this year, it’s really funky, much more creative and individual.”
Elsewhere, former Miss Ireland Pamela Uba revealed she is transforming her career to become a singer.
“I can’t believe how incredible this year has been, I’m now focusing on my singing which is a dream come true.”
