A new 'five star' luxury care home has opened its doors in Glasgow's south side.
Balmoral by Northcare describes itself as "one of Glasgow’s finest care homes" and features a hair and beauty salon, cocktail bar, brasserie and cinema.
Located in Giffnock, it has 69 suites available for residents.
The description reads: "Balmoral by Northcare is a purpose-built ‘five star’ luxury care home. It includes all of the usual comforts you would expect from one of Glasgow’s finest care homes, such as warm and welcoming living areas, bright and airy dining rooms all decorated to the highest standards of traditional taste with a modern twist.
"The bedroom suites, which are our clients personal space to rest and relax in, are as far from the traditional concept of a care home as you can imagine.
"All of our bedrooms at Balmoral are finished to the highest of standards and include large en-suite’s with rain head showers, double bed, call bell, telephone facility, high speed wireless internet connectivity and Sky TV facility."
