The Boston Celtics now find themselves the owners of the longest winning streak in the NBA at a total of 10 games. It began on a lighter note back at the start of the month of February as Boston faced off against the Memphis Grizzlies, Atlanta Hawks, and Washington Wizards.
Then things ticked up in terms of difficulty for the Celtics. Wins against the Miami Heat, Brooklyn Nets (twice!), Chicago Bulls, and New York Knicks were tougher if still fairly easy outs for Boston. The streak, then at nine games, caught the attention of the “NBA on TNT” crowd as the Celtics squared off with their Atlantic Division rival Philadelphia 76ers, putting the streak at 10 games by the time the final buzzer sounded.
The “Inside the NBA” crew weighed in on Boston’s streak of elite play, and whether it has changed their opinions on the storied ball club’s ceilign this season.
