Inside the mansions across Greater Manchester slashed in price

House prices appear to be taking a tumble at the higher end of the property market in Greater Manchester as several mansions have had their prices slashed by considerable amounts.

This month Rightmove said that house prices across the UK have increased, with big jumps in the prices of larger homes at the top of the ladder. But despite this trend it appears that in our region, some these types of properties could be struggling to sell.

Some big mansions in affluent areas such as Hale, Hale Barns and Bowdon have seen their asking prices plummet by as much as £500,000 in an attempt to give them a boost and attract a bigger range of buyers.
