Inside the Love is Blind cast's lavish Mexico stay with swim-up suites and butlers

Netflix 's Love is Blind is back, and once again we've been glued to our screens watching the couples meet in the pods, get engaged... and navigate plenty of drama before their big days.

A key part of the show saw the season two cast head on a luxurious Mexico getaway so they can get to know each other a bit better - and we all got major holiday envy in the process.

That's because the couples headed to the TRS Coral Hotel in Cancun, which offers an incredible beachfront location (hello white sands), amazing food, and huge luxurious swim-up suites.

Basically, it's just as luxurious as the Mexican hotel used for the first season of the show.

It's not difficult to see why the adults-only, all-inclusive resort caught the Love is Blind crew's attention.

This beachfront hotel has major wanderlust-inducing credentials from the sprawling picture-perfect pool where couples can soak up the sunshine, to the luxurious spa where lavish treatments await.

The waterfront location means you can enjoy a whole host of water sports and fun activities, not to mention there's an on-site tennis centre.

Getting peckish? There are heaps of restaurants on offer from a beach club to a steak house, restaurants dedicated to Italian, French and Thai cuisine, and even a restaurant where you can enjoy a whole cabaret show while you tuck into some seriously delicious food.

Then there are the rooms. The hotel boasts some incredible swim-up suites complete with a terrace and sunbed so you can lounge about in your own private space all day. If you'd prefer a room with views of the resort, you don't need to miss out on the luxury, with heaps of rooms boasting their very own outdoor hot tubs - perfect for a romantic night in.

Oh, and no need to lift a finger throughout your stay- a number of suites come with butler service!

Unsurprisingly, a stay won't come cheap. When we took a look we could find rooms from £5,684 for two people on Booking.com, based on an all-inclusive stay in March or April.

It's worth noting that this is for your hotel only - this won't include your flights although there are plenty of cheap flights to Cancun on Skyscanner with return fares from £299pp.

Currently Mexico is open to UK holidaymakers - both vaccinated and unvaccinated - without any entry requirements. This means you can visit without needing to show proof of vaccination, or any Covid tests.

However you will need to register on the Mexico Vuela Seguro Platform before boarding your flight to Mexico, and to show the QR code upon arrival at the airport. You can find out more in the Foreign Office's latest Mexico travel advice.
