Inside the dreamy Bahamas floating cabanas with private slides to the ocean

Get ready for a serious dose of wanderlust, courtesy of some glamorous new over-the-water cabanas in the Bahamas!

The new Floating Cabanas, the first of their kind in the Caribbean, are the stuff of dreams with over-the-water hammocks, private showers... and even a slide directly into the surrounding crystal-clear waters!

Then there's the plush furniture, the spacious decks with loungers and al fresco dining areas, all ideal for those who want to soak up the sunshine (there's also a white sand beach just a few steps away).

Oh, and did we mention you even have access to the 'Cabana Concierge' to cater to your every need?

The best part is that you don't need to be a millionaire if you want to explore the private island which serves as their home - but you will need to book a cruise holiday.

That's because the Floating Cabanas are set to open in January 2020, on Royal Caribbean's spectacular £191million private island Perfect Day at CocoCay .

There are 20 cabanas available in total, as part of the island's Coco Beach Club offering.

In fact, if you book one of the cabanas you'll get access to the beach club, which in itself is sure to make for a pretty glamorous offering.

We're talking everything from an ocean-view infinity pool complete with in-water loungers to a huge restaurant serving up gourmet dining menu as well as a buffet.

Prefer to be beachside rather than over the water? There are 10 Beachside Cabanas on offer too, each with heaps of comfortable furniture and lounging areas so you can indulge while taking in those breathtaking views.

For those who don't want to spend the entire day basking in the sunshine, there's plenty to explore, such as the Thrill Waterpark which has 13 waterslides including the tallest waterslide in North America.

Then there are the countless restaurants, sports from volleyball to paddle boarding, white sand beaches and even an island zip line!

To visit the island, you'll need to be on a Royal Caribbean cruise which includes it as a port of call.

Feeling tempted? You can check out the list of Perfect Day at CocoCay cruises to get you started - happy holiday hunting.

If you've already booked one of the cruises, you can already reserve either the Floating Cabanas or the Beachside Cabanas through the Royal Caribbean Cruise planner available to guests.
