Inside the Big Top that's popped up in Cardiff's Sophia Gardens

A huge circus tent has appeared in a Cardiff park. The big top at Sophia Gardens will be hosting a new touring show from NoFit State Circus, which has a spooky twist on a classic circus show.

Sabotage promises to bring an "exceptional new large scale circus spectacular, but with a darker, grittier edge". A description of the show says: "Sabotage explores the journeys we take; the struggles and privileges that shape our lives. We have all travelled different paths to get to where we are today. Yet those different journeys bring us together in the meeting place of the circus tent, to celebrate our common ground."

There will also be a live band at the heart of the show to bring the feel of the circus alive. It will feature performers from across the world, including Wales, and the show is in Cardiff from Friday, August 12 to Sunday, September 11. There will be matinee performances at 2pm or 4pm and evening performances will begin at 7.30pm.
