If there is one thing London does know how to do, it's party.
In the build up to London Fashion Week, which started Thursday and runs six days comprising of 72 on-schedule designers and 48 physical runway shows, one bash in particular was on everyone’s lips. H&M were flying in Charli XCX for the ultimate Brat girl moment.
It was every inch as epic as you might have expected. Guests streamed into the Copper Box Arena, in Stratford, led by Lila Moss, Naomi Campbell and Lennon Gallagher. Also at the mega-show was Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa alongside models Ella Richards, Stella Jones and Mia Regan.
It kicked off a schedule packed full of after dark fun. Caroline Rush, CEO of the British Fashion Council, told the Standard “we will close LFW and our year-long celebration of LFW40 with what London does best — an epic party [on Monday night]. We are hosting this party in collaboration with Burberry... and we have the iconic Naomi Campbell hosting the evening.” And so they did. Angela Rayner, A$AP Rocky and Ellie Goulding all congregated on Kensington's recently refurbished Roof Gardens for the LFW40 closing party in tandem with Burberry, ensuring the whole affair went out in style.
