Inside the amazing Santorini hotel which has secret tunnels in guests' rooms

An amazing hotel in Santorini has infinity pools leading out of guests' rooms which are accessed through secret tunnels.

With its iconic blue domed churches, pristine white buildings, picture-perfect views and glorious sunshine, its clear that the Greek island is a dream holiday destination.

When a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC devastated it, its current rugged landscape with dramatic cliffs hanging over the sea and an underwater crater was formed by the tragedy.

As well as its amazing natural landscape, one hotel is providing a very good reason to visit Santorini.

Book into an Infinity Suite at the Dana Villas Complex in Firostefani, and you'll have access to your very own private infinity pool - accessed through a secret tunnel.

Guests simply need to step through a little doorway in their bathroom into the indoor plunge pool tunnel, and then swim through to the infinity pool at the end, located outside so you can take in the breathtaking views of the landscape.

The water is heated too, so even if guests want to head out in the evenings or catch the early morning sunset, they won't be left shivering!

It's not just the pools that are whipping up envy of this luxury holiday, the suite bedrooms and bathrooms look incredible too.

Think huge cosy-looking beds, pristine white decor, and unrivalled views of the surrounding crystalline ocean waters and Santorini's iconic picture-perfect cliffsides.

The Infinity Suite also has an interior jacuzzi complete with waterfall and lighting controls so you basically have your own mini-spa in your bedroom.

If you are on the look out for amazing infinity pools, then Dubai has a good contender.

Located on the 77th floor of the Address Beach Resort in the UAE city, the pool is located just over 694ft above the skyline - 694ft 2in, to be exact.

Unsurprisingly, swimmers will get treated to some pretty epic views of Dubai's skyline.

We're talking panoramas of the golden sandy beaches of Jumeirah, the Dubai Marina and coastline, the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel and plenty more sun-soaked panoramics.

The new pool was actually built back in February 2020 and claimed the Guinness World Record for the ' highest outdoor infinity pool in a building '.
