Inside the abandoned farmhouse full of 'creepy' items off the M56

An explorer has ventured into an abandoned farmhouse which was 'left to rot' off the motorway, showing off the creepy findings inside.

Images showing inside the property lying off the M56 in East Cheshire near Altrincham have recently been posted online by urban explorer Jake on his popular Facebook page. He shared a series of photos with his 70,000 Facebook followers, with many commenting to say it was a shame to see the "beautiful" abandoned property being "left to rot".

However, once inside property, the rooms and outbuildings reveal some strange items have been left lying around, reports CheshireLive. One room is full of what looks like props from a horror movie set including a coffin, stuffed figures and large heavy chains.

Another area shows a horned animal skull and a dummy head among the items on a table. Erica Morrison commented: "It always baffles me how these places just become abandoned with no one inheriting or no one finding the heirs. It’s such a beautiful house!" while Mike Powell added: "Doesn’t look too bad. Someone should renovate before it's too late."

Diana Clements-Daly said: "It's a bit creepy but I'd love that house" and Jade McCoan added: "Beautiful house left to rot. Such a shame".

Jake also posted an almost six-minute long video of him exploring the farmhouse on his YouTube channel. The stunning house is surrounded by a plot of land, but the motorway and other roads can be seen surrounding it.

In the video, Jake is surprised to see through the window that the house has carpets. The property has a few outbuildings, one which contains what appears to be the Halloween or horror film props.

Meanwhile, rooms inside the house - including the kitchen and master bedroom - are eerily empty. Some of the rooms also boast beautiful wooden beams.

The living room, which is also bare, features a stunning brick period fireplace and has wooden panelled walls. A beautiful chandelier is also hanging from the ceiling.

"We are in to this old abandoned mansion," Jake said as he entered the property. "Wow, these rooms are sick. How grand this is, guys - beautiful, man, beautiful old house this." As he went upstairs, he commented on how damp the house was, with lots of black mould.

Jake has been documenting his explorations around the north west and further afield on the video-sharing platform for around five years. He has previously visited the haunted Winstanley Hall in Wigan, a forgotten train station in Stockport and a deserted car workshop in Manchester.

He has also ventured abroad, exploring abandoned places in Spain and the Netherlands, according to his YouTube channel.
