Inside the £10,000-a-night superyacht for holidays with hot tubs and a theatre

Have you ever dreamed of hanging out in a hot tub on a yacht on legs?

If so, you may not be simply suffering from a fever, but expressing an understandable desire to stay on HELM's mansion yacht.

The luxury boat hire company has a fleet of some of the most unusual and high-end vessels in the world.

Perhaps the unusual jewel in its crown is a 9,000sq/ft boat with retractable hydraulic legs.

When the legs are tucked away, the yacht can be sailed across the Seven Seas from its docking point in Florida's East Coast.

Once you've found the perfect Caribbean cove or Miami beach party for the evening, the legs can be released.

The four sturdy structures sink into the sea floor and lift the mansion yacht up and away from the water.

In doing so not only do they offer the vessel a pent-house like vantage point over fellow yacht owners, the whole ship is held steady - perfect for the sea sick and those looking to indulge.

There’s space for 12 guests to live in complete comfort in the yacht, which has five state rooms decked out with luxury king size beds and large en suites.

Summers evenings are best spent outside bubbling away in the seven person hot tub or sunning yourself on the sweeping outdoor terrace.

Once night has fallen the expansive indoor living area is a good spot to relax and eat dinner, produced by a private chef working in the onboard kitchen.

Other entertainment comes in the form of an 800ft theatre, so you and your friends can watch a film or put on an am dram interpretation of Swallows and Amazons.

If you start to feel too cooped up on board the floating manor, then you can check out the local amenities or nearby fish on the boat's paddle boards or with its scuba gear.

As one might expect, renting a yacht on legs isn't cheap.

A week on the yacht will cost you from $85,000 (£70,000), which works out at approximately £10,000 a night!
