Global superstar Taylor Swift stayed in an old coach house not too far away from Dublin city centre and went completely unnoticed.
The house was located in Dublin 6, near Ranelagh and Donnybrook. While her stay in the capital was kept a closely guarded secret, people now have the opportunity to experience Taylor’s former haven for themselves.
The accommodation has been put up for rent on Airbnb, with the description: "The Coach House. Taylor Swift stayed here!"

Host Bob explained in the listing: “Taylor Swift stayed with us while in Ireland. The location of her stay was kept confidential and nobody ever found out allowing her some peace and quiet while in Dublin.”
Bob shared a picture from inside the property of a framed, handwritten note apparently left by Taylor, who is currently touring the US with her Eras Tour.
The note reads: “To the Haugh family. Thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful home. Sending love and gratitude to you all! Love, Taylor.”
The two-bedroom, two bathroom home is described as a 200-year-old coach house that resembles a Tuscan farmhouse. It was recently restored after laying dormant for decades and is situated at the rear of a private home.
The “peaceful and charming” house is a 10 minute walk from Ranelagh and 15 minute walk from Ballsbridge.
Bob explained that her stay at the home may have inspired her song Sweet Nothing off her latest album midnights. He said: “Her song Sweet Nothing references her stay.”
The song recounts a romantic holiday in Ireland, and in the first verse she sings: “I spy with my little tired eye, tiny as a firefly, a pebble that we picked up last July. Down deep inside your pocket, we almost forgot it, does it ever miss Wicklow sometimes?”
A description of the accommodation reads: “Living room and modern Bulthaup Kitchen. One double bedroom and second double room on mezzanine. Two bathrooms. Both with shower and one with bath. Large dining room / office.
"Beautifully secluded private terrace. The coach house is to the rear of our 200 years old house. The Coach house as the name suggests would have housed the horse and carriage belonging to the main house owners.
The Coach House is very secure and extremely private. The house can accommodate max 4.
“Guests will have full and exclusive access to The Coach House. Parking is available for one car at the front of the property 50m from the Coach House.
“Access to the coach house is along a gravel path - there is one step. The bedrooms are both on the upper floor. One shower room with wc is on the ground floor and the other on the upper floor.”
The Couch House has received 23 5-star reviews.
