Who is Morgana Robinson?
Robinson was born in Shepparton, Australia, which is around 180 kilometers from Melbourne. Her family moved to England when she was three.
Her older half-sister from a previous relationship of her father's is rock star Brody Dalle.
Dalle is lead singer of American punk rock band The Distillers and is currently involved in a custody battle with Queens of the Stone Age singer Josh Homme. Dalle and Robinson did not meet until 2004.
Robinson is a successful comedian, impressionist and actor. The Morgana Show aired for one season in 2010 and was followed by Morgana Robinson's The Agency in 2016.
In terms of her private life, Robinson is not married and is very careful about revealing any details. However, she did post a picture of herself in the arms of an unconfirmed man suspected to be former co-star actor Matt Berry.
Fans who saw the image on Instagram commented: "Are these two legends together? Please make it so!"
Another said: "You and Matt are the Uber couple! Make it happen!"
She has been a regular on British television screens since her debut in 2007 in the BBC sitcom The Green Green Grass. Robinson has also featured in My Family, Big School, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Inside No. 9.
She is perhaps best known for playing royal Pippa Middleton in all three series of the popular Channel 4 show The Windsors.
In an interview with Channel 4, Robinson spoke of playing the character.
She said: "I sort of honed my Pippa skills through the medium of boarding school and I kind of channelled all the girls I went to school with and basically put them all into one character.
There’s only one interview with her I’ve seen and she’s very nervous and she’s so much lovelier and very sweet compared to my version of her. The only thing I made sure is that the makeup artist gave me a beauty spot. She’s not really true to self- it’s a character so I didn’t feel any pressure to push the impression out as it’s not an impression show."
Robinson won her first major award in 2012 at the British Comedy Awards winning best comedy breakthrough artist.
She won her first BAFTA in 2018 for Best Short Form Programme category for Morgana Robinson's Summer.
