The ECHO has taken a look inside some of the 'least loved' homes on Merseyside, which are taking years to sell.
The property market can be impacted by a never ending list of external factors, more so now than ever, with rocketing interest and mortgage rates. Some houses sell faster than others, so we've listed some that have been on the market a little longer than usual.
In Southport , there's a huge six-bedroom terrace on King Street that was reduced in April 2020, meaning it has been on the market for more than two years.

As well as an abundance of sleeping space, the property also has two reception rooms and two bathrooms. It's currently in use as a family home, but could easily be converted into flats or bedsits.
The house also boasts an excellent location, in close proximity to the town's train station and Victoria Park. It's also dripping with character, with ornate coving, woodwork and picture rails. The house is on the market with Purplebricks for £235,000.
It's not just regular properties struggling to sell. Hidden down an exclusive road is a stunning eight-bedroom mansion which has been up for sale under its current listing since March 2021. The 'wonderful' property on Mere Road in Newton-le-Willows is on the market with Fraser Reeves for a whopping £1,250,000.
Highlights include a full leisure area with changing rooms and an indoor swimming pool, generous landscaped gardens, a separate self-contained annex and both double and single garages. In Tuebrook, a unique property stands apart from its neighbours opposite a small row of shops.
The home on Marlborough Road, just off West Derby Road, in Tuebrook , has been up for sale with Berkeley Shaw since July 2020. It's on the market for £125,000.
It has three bedrooms and one bathroom, while the ground floor comprises an entrance hall, living room and a spacious kitchen with a dining area. It's also among one of the cheapest detached homes on the market in Liverpool and is currently occupied by tenants, bringing in £450 a month.
