BBC Breakfast presenter Nina Warhurst announced she is pregnant with her third child this weekend.
The doting mum, 42, is already mum to two boys – Digby, six and Michael, four – with her husband Ted.
And now the family are set to add to their brood this summer.
The morning telly presenter admitted she's been experiencing "intense" symptoms including migraines, vomiting and acne when she revealed she’s expecting in a sweet Mother’s Day post this weekend.
As the journalist prepares to become a mum-of-three, we take a look around her swanky newly renovated Manchester home.
Nina previously lived in a newly built flat in Salford but the family moved out of that property in October 2021 and into her mum’s house for a time while they got their new abode to a habitable state.
Nina revealed at the time that the stressful move was the family’s sixth in seven years.
In an Instagram post, where she was pictured standing in an empty apartment, Nina wrote: Man. Moving is HARD.
“Today I cried twice, had an angry nap on a sheetless mattress - like a writhing scene from Trainspottong, Ed threw a dirty cloth at me (not in cute flirty way... we were arguing about who is most miserable with life) and I got stuck in a traffic jam for 90 minutes trying to make sure some pies from the freezer for my Grandad weren’t wasted.
“Wish there was a happy ending photo with us in our new house - alas it’s nowhere near ready & we are camping at my Mum’s.” [sic]
The family have since moved out of Nina’s mum’s house and into their dream property, which appears, from the glimpses Nina has shared with fans, to be a Victorian townhouse.
The telly personality has kept fans up to date as she and husband Ted renovated the stunning home.
In November 2021, Nina told fans how she had been “losing my mind slightly living in a half-finished house, with two tiny kids and a busy job” but was overjoyed as their new bath had been delivered.
Alongside a snap of her in the stunning black and white claw-foot bath followed by one in which the tub sat in a room filled with renovation paraphernalia, Nina wrote: “Today THE BATH arrived, and for 24 or so seconds it all felt great. I don’t treat myself very often - but baths make me happy, so I went for it... it’s a beauty and I am in love.”
“It will be even better if we work out how to get it up the stairs, and perhaps even one day put some water in it…”
Not an inch of Nina’s family home has been left untouched in the huge renovation.
In the same month, Nina’s interior designer and project manager revealed that the whole family had been putting the hours in to transform the house.
Property expert and self-titled ‘Lady Builder’ Sian Astley posted a clip of Nina’s then three-year-old son Michael sat on the brand-new bare kitchen units as she taught him how to roller paint onto the freshly plastered walls.
She captioned the post: “This 3yr old has the makings of an excellent craftsman, even down to the pencil behind the ear.
“Very well brought up @ninawarhurst_ and @fedbyted1, a master builder in the making.
“Chop chop Michael, the worktops arrive on Friday, we’ve got two more coats to go yet!!” [sic]
Later snaps show the couple opted for crisp white kitchen unit doors, chrome hardware, grey countertops and a light wood floor.
Elsewhere Nina has unveiled the transformed ‘grown-ups bathroom’ to fans who have been following along with her construction journey.
The stunning claw foot bath had finally been installed by February 2022 and sat in a stunning bathroom with refinished original wood floors, new period radiators and a huge white subway tiled walk-in shower.
Next to the luxurious tub, Nina showed her fans the latest furniture addition to her nearly finished home: a stunning vintage bar cart.
She delighted fans with pictures of the finished room as she told them the backstory to the drinks trolley and revealed her penchant for furniture with a history.
She told fans: “Thanks for your lovely comments about the new addition to the grown-ups bathroom. Her name is Mary Kate.”
“A small bar has always been part of the plan. But I held back from buying one because budgets have been tight, and I like furniture that comes with a story,” she explained.
“This week a kind friend said her kind friend was clearing out a relative’s home after she passed away... would I like to have a look?
“Mary Kate moved to Manchester from the west of Ireland as a young woman & lived here until she died at 94. She became the matriarch of a large family & baked soda bread every morning for young Irish workers who came and rented the spare room. She was busy until the end, staying sociable and house proud.
“Apparently she made a mean apple pie, and brought the trolley out on “high days” & holidays with the family around.
“Her relative said she was an amazingly capable woman in every sense, whose life would have been very different were she born now.
“She loved her furniture, and wanted it to be well used. I will treasure this, and use it often. I promise. Thank you and cheers, Mary Kate.”
Elsewhere in her stunning home, Nina has shown off her eye for beautiful, hand-selected pieces of furniture.
The dining area is home to an old extendable table, vintage chairs and a red floral rug.
Her living room features newly installed floor-to-ceiling windows where the original bay once stood, as well as a striking bare-brick fireplace.
Nina has opted for fun, colourful furniture in the room, with her blue sofa being accompanied by a black and white gingham print armchair and bunting which stretches around the walls of the room.
The cosy lounge is also home to a wooden table, the family TV and of course her children’s toys.
Nina’s bedroom has also seen a complete overhaul. Freshly painted grey walls provide the perfect simple backdrop for her metal framed bed, dark wood dresser and revived original Victorian fireplace which has been painstakingly stripped and painted black.
Simple monochrome artwork adorns the walls for the boudoir while crisp white sheets lay on the bed and a TV rests in the corner of the room.
One of the house’s most sought-after features is the sprawling original wood staircase which stretches from the ground floor to the second floor.
The bannisters and spindles have been meticulously sanded and painted black and white to accentuate their gorgeous details.
In a snap of her cat balancing on the banister, Nina unveiled the space to fans recently.
The stairs remain uncarpeted but look as though they have been painted ready for a runner to be installed to match the muted beige walls.
