Michelle Collins married her partner Mike Davidson earlier this month in an intimate ceremony at Islington Town Hall in London.
The former EastEnders star, 60, has been with 39-year-old Mike for 10 years and the couple looked happier than ever as they said 'I do'.
The low-key ceremony was attended by their closest family and friends, as well as Michelle's co-star Adam Woodyatt. Michelle, who is best known for playing Cindy Beale on the BBC soap, said the special day was "emotional" and "amazing".
Michelle opted not to wear a traditional wedding dress, instead choosing a white trouser suit. She looked elegant in the outfit which had been designed by Nadine Merabi.
Her hair was styled in loose waves and she wore a flower crown which was made by her florist.
Proud groom Michael wore a white jacket with a black shirt and matching trousers.
During the ceremony, Michelle paid a touching tribute to her mum who passed away last year after a two-year battle with cancer.
She had a picture of her mum in the registry office and also used her mum's wedding ring as her own. Michelle's engagement ring had belonged to her mother-in-law.
"I know she would have been really proud and she would have been proud we did it in Islington where we’re from," Michelle told OK! magazine.
Her daughter Maia, from her previous relationship with Fabrizo Tassalini, was also sadly absent from the wedding as she was away when the date came around.
Following the service, the newlyweds chatted to guests outside the town hall as they sipped on champagne. They were then whisked off to their reception in a white convertible Volkswagen Beetle.
"Michael’s sister got us this convertible Beetle, because it was my first car and the car my mum had when we were little and used to take us to Cornwall," Michelle explained.
"That meant a lot having that car."
Shunning the idea of a traditional wedding, Michelle decided to treat their 250 guests to free-flowing canapes instead of a formal sit-down meal.
Guests were also able to indulge in an open bar and were provided with glasses of fizz and rosé on arrival.
For the entertainment, Michelle had a piano player, singer and drag queen. She said: "You've got to keep the people entertained!"
The couple's first dance was to Sugar by Maroon 5, though by that point Michelle seemed to have had enough of wearing her heels.
She said: "I had to take my shoes off about 7pm because my feet were killing me and then I danced like a typical bride with no shoes on."
